I need some help building a practice green?
I've been wanting to build a practice green in my back yard. My dream would to build it with some dips and different breaks, as well as a sand trap. I would like the green to be decent size, mabye like 30x18 with a dogleg shape. I would like to avoid turf and buy real grass, however i live in Minnesota so the winers are harsh. I would like to know how to build this and how much i would be paying. Thanks!
You will need a professional, it is very complicated and involves things like drainage, stability, grass species, cup placement, reinforcements, etc. If not done right the first time, the first freeze will cause it to heave.
